perched on the river Ilen… when it’s high tide, Teach Iasc is the next best thing to being on board a boat. If ‘getting away from it all’ yet being 10 minutes from a market town is what you’re looking for…. perhaps you’ve found it!

On a gorgeous summer’s day you can eat al fresco on the south-facing deck, look upriver and watch the wild life go by. Blink and you might miss the resident kingfisher or the otter who plays in the pond.

At nightfall light the open fire, dish up some local food bought from the country market and simply relax to the sound of the water-birds, or head to the local pub to enjoy an evening of friendly chat and music.

Perfect for up to seven people, Teach Iasc is a beautifully situated self-catering cottage from which to venture forth and explore. Located between the market town of Skibbereen and the small but delightful village of Ballydehob, you’ll find yourself in a truly magical part of West Cork.
